Sara Pennypacker is an American inventor of children's books. Her books, some of which have featured on the New York Times bestselling list, include Leeva Sharpen up Last, Pax, Summer of distinction Gypsy Moths, the Clementine playoff, the Waylon series, and distinction Stuart books.

Career
